Mitochondrion - Parasignosis (2011)

All fans of death metal need to check out the newest Mitochondrion record ASAP. It's the Canadian trio's second full length and first album out on Profound Lore. "Parasignosis" will especially appeal to fans of occult/blackened death metal like Portal, Teitanblood, Witchrist, Diocletian, Dead Congregation, etc. It happens to be my favorite style of death metal, so it comes highly recommended. Definitely also for fans of Morbid Angel.

Track list:
1. Pestilentiam Intus Vocamus, Voluntatem Absolvimus I. Plague Evockation
2. Pestilentiam Intus Vocamus, Voluntatem Absolvimus II. Lex Ego Exitum
3. Pestilentiam Intus Vocamus, Voluntatem Absolvimus III. Tetravirulence
4. Trials
5. Rift/Apex
6. Parasignosis
7. Banishment (Undecaphosphoric)
8. Kathenotheism
9. Untitled
10. Untitled
11. Outro

Listen here, but please buy it if you enjoy it. The artwork is awesome and it really gets better the more I listen to it. Imagine how much more awesome it will sound on vinyl?
